In case you have missed the spectacle, Light of Motiram is Tencent’s latest project (Polaris Quest’s, a subsidiary of Tencent, to be specific) that looks way too similar to Horizon Zero Dawn/Forbidden West. The game is almost a carbon copy of the Horizon series, complete with a female bow-and-arrow-wielding protagonist, huge mechanical monsters, and a post-apocalyptic setting. Furthermore, it features some survival and base-management mechanics, leading to gamers comparing it to Palworld (in all aspects). It was first announced that Light of Motiram is coming to PC but was more recently revealed that it will also be playable on PlayStation 5.
Light of Motiram Will Be Playable on PlayStation 5, PC, iOS, and Andriod
We can’t deny that the whole situation with Light of Motiram is more than ridiculous. Sure, it’s tough to create anything original today, but Tencent really took it too far. But, in all seriousness, according to Chinese social media, it looks like Light of Motiram is coming to PS5 and mobiles, as well as PC.
“[Light of Motiram] is a survival building game. You will build homes in a new world, challenge mechanical bosses, and uncover the mystery of the cycle. Forget the old rules of survival and change the way of life from now on. [Light of Motiram] is about to open the first test recruitment on the mobile side, and will have more cooperation with PlayStation in the future. Please look forward to it.” is posted on Weibo.
It is supposed to be free-to-play and will be released somewhere in 2025. According to the trailer, it does look a bit demanding, so we are a bit puzzled about how it’s going to run on iOS and Android. In any case, PS5 users will also be able to enjoy this totally original game. Wonder if it will also get PS5 Pro support.
