Dragon Age The Veilguard Review Embargo Ends on Monday, October 28

Dragon Age The Veilguard characters exploring between two huge statues

The fourth installment of the popular Dragon Age series is right around the corner. The official release of Dragon Age The Veilguard is set for October 31 (on Halloween, coincidence?), and it will be playable on PC and all the current-gen consoles (and special attention has been given to it to make it PS5 Pro Enhanced). But, you have surely noticed that the reviews have been suspiciously silent. That’s because a “review embargo” was issued, preventing reviewers from saying anything about it. However, it looks like the Dragon Age The Veilguard review embargo ends pretty soon.

Leaks Indicate that Dragon Age The Veilguard Review Embargo Ends Soon

In the last couple of days, more and more popular reviewers started posting announcements for upcoming Dragon Age The Veilguard reviews, all set on the same date: Monday, October 28, 2024. For example, on October 21, Tom Henderson of Insider Gaming posted: “Dragon Age Veilguard Reviews – Oct 28th”.

Today, October 25, Jordan Middler of Video Game Chronicle said: “My Dragon Age: The Veilguard review will go live at 4 PM UK time on Monday, October 28.”

As you can see, everything indicates that we will get a ton of reviews starting next week, just a couple of days before the official Dragon Age The Veilguard release.

Dragon Age The Veilguard Review Expectations

Even though the official reviews are currently unavailable, we can still see what the community initially thinks about the game and speculate what the overall “score” will be. “If the previews are anything to go by, I expect a 90+ on Metacritic…” said Rawameriwani on X. As for Reddit, Deadly_Toast said: “With the way all the preview reactions went I’m honestly expecting some good scores. Betting it gets a 85+ Metacritic,“ and St_Sides added: “Previews have been almost universally positive, I hope they stick the landing. Either way, my most anticipated game this fall and next week can’t get here soon enough.”

Either way, we will get the official scores in just a couple of days. Stay tuned.
