Does Payday 3 Have Multiplayer?
The simple answer is yes, the game does include multiplayer. Up to four players online can team up and take part in various heists. The game does not feature local multiplayer, and there are no competitive multiplayer modes.
The game will also support cross-platform multiplayer, so players across all available systems will be able to play together. This will include PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store.

Does Payday 3 Have Single-Player?
The game can be played in single-player as well, and there are two options for players to choose from. Players who wish to play by themselves do not need to enter matchmaking, and can play the game completely solo with no teammates. There is also the option to play with three AI bots as teammates, and each have their own passive bonuses.
However, the game cannot be played offline and will require a constant online connection. This will be true whether playing in multiplayer or completely solo in single-player. The developers have said this requirement was necessary due to the addition of cross-platform progression, so players can transfer their progress across systems.
Does Payday 3 Have Split-Screen Co-Op?
Unfortunately, Payday 3 will not be supporting local split-screen co-op, therefore players won’t be able to play with friends or families on the same screen. However, Payday 3 will support an online Co-op, in which 4 players can join together to the heist.
