Is Party Animals Crossplay and Cross Platform? – Answered
Looking to find out about if Party Animals supports crossplay and cross-progression? Then you have come to the right place.
Party Animals is a multiplayer game where players fight each other as cute animals in a small arena and combat that is heavily influenced by physics. While the game will allow multiplayer players at once, will it support multiplayer and the ability to transfer progress across multiple platforms? This guide will show players whether the game will support crossplay and cross-progression.
Does Party Animals Have Crossplay?
The game will support cross-platform multiplayer at launch. That means that players across PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S will be able to play with each other regardless of what platform each person is using.
Multiplayer matches consist of up to eight players in online multiplayer, while local multiplayer supports up to four players on one screen. However, local multiplayer players will be able to play online as part of eight-player matches.
Does Party Animals Have Cross Progression?
Unfortunately, the game does not support cross-progression. That means that players will not be able to transfer their progress from PC to Xbox consoles whenever they would like and switch between the two platforms at will. So, players will have to decide which platform they would like to play on and stick with it.
Although, the game does support Smart Delivery. That means Xbox One players will be able to transfer their save, achievements, and progress to the Xbox Series X|S version when they decide to upgrade to the new hardware. However, it cannot be transferred back and forth.
