The Palworld community is one of the most wholesome ones out there. With the recent update adding a bunch of new features, and possibly some bugs, the community has been tighter than ever. This update also introduced an opportunity to be an Oil Magnate, which appealed to many Palworld players and inspired them to share some helpful tips on farming Crude Oil.
Some of the Finest Tips for Farming are the Most Logical Ones
One dedicated player, ____Maximus____, shared their approach. This player said: “Do it manually. We got the Coal and Sulfur farms this update, so just take the time you’d invest to do that manually and farm Crude Oil. For those who don’t know, the new Pal Kikit drops Crude Oil. Farming Kikit is absolutely the better alternative to waiting for your rigs to get oil”.
They continued: “But yeah, waiting for it to automatically farm Crude Oil was kind of killing my soul, so if anyone here was doing that and feeling the same way, I thought I’d tell you what I do. Also if you’re someone that likes Lucky Pals, I’ve gotten 2 Hellzephyr Lux, 3 Kikit, 1 Prixter, and 1 Mimog just while farming for Crude Oil”.
Another player, Acceptable-Ability96, added: “It’s a decent tip if you are rushing to meet a threshold of Oil. Personally, I just set up 2 bases for Oil and then just grind Dungeons instead of killing Kikits, since I really want that low drop rate legendary schematics for the new weapons”.
Loki_prime_spammer presented another possible alternative. They wondered: “Couldn’t you just use the Pal Disassembly Conveyor belt, have a breeding farm breed Kikits, and just put the Kikits into the machine?”. While this is technically possible, it would take a lot of time, especially if you don’t have Instant Incubations turned on, and even if you did, it would take some manual work and still be slower than the other alternatives.
Collecting Enough Crude Oil Has Become Quite a Chore in Palworld
Probably the most popular of all the tips on farming Crude Oil in Palworld has to be just going away from the keyboard. Infamous-Physics-116 explained their tactics. They said: “I tend to AFK for breeding anyways, I think my Oil base (doubled up to 6 extractors) had gotten me 2000+ Oil when I got back”.
Demonking3343 agreed: “I just AFK while I sleep. Usually, I have like 500 Oil by the time I wake up. Thinking about setting up a second base at the 3-node area”. Ah, yes, some very helpful Redditors shared the location of the 3-node area. According to them, the area is located to the left of the Volcano, near one of the Dungeons. Laserdollarz revealed: “Coords of my Palbox for that base are (-853, -455)”.
Honestly, we’ll be trying some of these tips ourselves. Ever since the update dropped, we constantly need more and more Crude Oil. Maybe even combining some of these pieces of advice might be a good idea. We love that the Palworld community is so open to sharing tips and tricks because it allows all the players to pick up something that might be of great help. What do you think?
