Having the best possible gear and weapons in a survival game like Once Human can save you from many threats both monstrous and human alike. So read our guide on the Wish Machine and find out how to get Rare and Legendary weapon and gear blueprints.

How to Get Wish Machine in Once Human

There are two ways players can get a Wish Machine in the game. Firstly, it can be encountered during main storyline missions in the world, or it can be unlocked and built by players in their base. While progressing through the main story, you will encounter a Wish Machine sooner or later. The machine can be unlocked after finishing the Concept of Materialization main quest.

This quest begins outside of Deadsville, where a group of guards are standing alert around the machine in front of a broken-down camping van. Speaking with a guard and with the Wish Machine will give players the option to use the machine at a discounted price. Moreover, after this interaction, players will be rewarded with a machine, that they can place inside their base.

Alternatively, players can unlock a Wish Machine using their Cradle Logistics tree. Unlocking the machine this way does cost 5 Cipher points and 200 Energy Links. After it is unlocked, you can build the Wish Machine inside your territory for the material cost of :

  • Copper Ingot x25
  • Glass x5
  • Metal Parts x5
  • Rubber x3
  • Rusted Parts x10

How to Use Wish Machine in Once Human

Once players have their own Wish Machine they can spend Starchrom and use it in one of two ways. The machine can either be used as a Blueprint Shop or to make a wish. A Blueprint Shop will allow players to purchase weapons and gear blueprints for a fixed amount of Starchrom. On the other hand, the Make a Wish option will allow you to win the desired Blueprints.

Entering the Make a Wish option requires players to spend either 500 Starchrom for 1 try or 5000 for 10. This leads to a small mini-game reminiscent of a whac-a-mole with a fixed reward pool. The list of items that can be won can be examined before playing, so players can see what they are gambling for. Once the game starts, players must hit a lama with a hammer to close holes. Every hit will close the hole and write a letter from S to C on it. Every letter represents the blueprint rarity, and at the top of the screen, you can see exactly how many of each are still in the prize pool. The letter “S” represents the Legendary rarity, while “A” stands for Epic, and “B” and “C” stand for Rare.
