Gunfight is a game mode that recently came to Modern Warfare 2 with the release of Season 03. The matches are fast 2v2s, taking place on smaller, more dense maps. As such, the maps are rife with obstacles to hide behind and peak around, which make for a lot of unique angles players can use to take fights. These maps are listed below:

Core Maps
Core Maps are those players will find in the usual 6v6 game modes. Because they are the most common maps, they are also some of the most varied. Some will feature long hallways with lengthy sightlines for marksman rifles, while others will focus on claustrophobic spaces perfect for close-quarters combat. Players will have to be jacks of all trades to be consistently successful on these maps. These maps are as follows:

Battle Maps are the largest type of map, hosting large-scale game types like the 32v32 ground war game mode. Some portions of these maps become smaller maps themselves, so many parts of these maps will be familiar even for those who don’t play the larger-scale game modes often. These maps are listed here:

These are all the maps currently in Modern Warfare 2, but players will need to keep their eyes open. New seasons generally bring several new maps, meaning the list will always be expanding.
