Great news for all the Hunters! Well, except for the cheaters. As you probably know by now, the first update following the First Title Update is coming on April 16, and with it, plenty of changes and fixes. Among the changes, the Monster Hunter Wilds devs decided to make some much-needed adjustments to Arena and Challenge Quests. These changes will certainly improve the experience for the majority of the players.

Rewards for Challenge Quests Will Be More Obtainable

The MHW devs announced some important changes on April 15. They started by sharing some pretty big news about the changes that would be made regarding the rewards.

The devs noted: “To provide all hunters a reasonable and fair opportunity to obtain the event rewards for the ongoing Challenge Quest ‘Doshaguma of the Hollow,’ we are making the changes as described in the image below”.

They added: “Going forward, future Challenge Quests and Free Challenge Quests will not include rewards that require specific leaderboard rankings. Rankings on the Expedition Record Board will continue to be viewable as usual. Stay tuned for updates on future event rewards to come”.

As mentioned, the devs also attached an image that showcased the changes. As you can see, the devs will adjust both the Doshaguma: Mark of Bravery pendant and the Doshaguma: Mark of Mastery pendant conditions.

Monster Hunter Players Will Get in Trouble for Tampering With the Arena and Challenge Quests’ Clear Times

Oof, we’ve all seen some ridiculous clear times. So, many Monster Hunter Wilds Players were glad to see the devs address this issue with the Challenge and Arena Quests.

The devs stated: “We are currently reviewing Arena Quests and Challenge Quests clear times in the rankings for any irregularities or glitches and will be taking action to exclude times that are clearly unnatural”.

They elaborated: “In addition, if our review determines that there has been clear cheating, we will take action to suspend or ban the account in question. The user’s clear time will not be registered in the rankings from that point, and they will not receive the event rewards”.

Furthermore, it will take one to two weeks for the devs to review the final ranking results for the Challenge Quests. So, the devs will distribute the event rewards after they have excluded any fraudulent clear times.

Overall, these are quite remarkable changes. The MH Wilds community thoroughly approved of these changes, as well. So, dear Hunter, get ready, the best is yet to come! You still have some time to complete the Quests, so get to it! Happy hunting.
