Perfect timing! Just in time for the release of A Minecraft Movie, Amazon Prime decided to give its subscribers a special treat. For the next couple of months, all Prime subscribers will be able to download Minecraft Legends for free for their Xbox and PC.

Minecraft Legends was released on April 18, 2023. This game is a kid-friendly, real-time action strategy. It has received mixed reviews, with the main problem being the repetitiveness. However, it can be quite fun.
The main task is to protect and defend the Overworld from Piglins. Yes, if you aren’t up to date on your Minecraft lore, Piglins are pig-like humanoids. You’ll get to gradually upgrade and strengthen structures, all while exploring the Overworld. This game promises epic battles, a vivid Overworld, and it can be played solo or in PvP, or in Co-op mode.
If you were to buy this game via Steam, its regular price is €39,99. However, Amazon Prime is offering Minecraft Legends for free, for Xbox and PC. All you need to do is subscribe to this service, and you’ll be able to download the game. The offer expires on June 4, 2025.
A while back, Amazon introduced Prime Gaming, which lets players acquire a selection of games included with a Prime membership. That means that you can download, play, and, yes, keep full games. In other words, once you stop subscribing to Amazon Prime, you don’t lose any of the games you claimed. And, honestly, the selection is quite cool. We’ve seen BioShock Remastered and Dredge on Amazon Gaming before (both expired by now).
