It’s all about teamwork, right? After all, Marvel Rivals is a superhero team-based PvP shooter. This game has three well-defined character classes which were made to cooperate perfectly. However, that isn’t always the case. Thus, the support mains are finally speaking out on their least favorite Marvel Rivals to play with.
Support Mains Carry a Lot of Responsibility
As you might know, non-Duelist players insist that Duelists have an unfair advantage. Not only do they have the best roster of characters, but they have the least responsibilities toward the team. Vanguards carry a bit more responsibility, as they offer the much-needed cover for the team.
On the other hand, Strategists, the healers of the group, probably have the hardest task. They have to be ready to jump in at any given moment and offer support. Furthermore, in some situations, they have to actively watch other players’ health and act without even being called in. So, Strategists probably have the most stressful job of all the players.
Well, other classes sometimes forget to appreciate just how hard the Strategists work and they often put them in almost impossible situations. Many support mains have characters they hate working with, still, they try their best, for the greater good.
Which Marvel Rivals Characters Are the Hardest to Support?
Of course, some characters are easier to support than others. So, Marvel Rivals support mains shared a comprehensive list of the worst characters to heal. Unsurprisingly, one tank makes the Strategists’ lives hell, can you guess which one?
If you guessed Groot, you were 100% right. CiD7707 noted: “I had a Groot on the enemy team today that was an absolute menace. He’d set up all his attack walls behind my team and push into us and I’d just watch helplessly as our team would get bullied through most of midtown because of it. I was barely able to heal my team fast enough as Mantis”. Even worse, sometimes there is a Groot on both sides, so the battleground becomes a ridiculous maze. Ah, all the walls, everywhere!
According to some Strategists, the honorary second place goes to Spiderman mains. Given the way Spiderman moves, sometimes it’s almost impossible to catch up. However, we have to admit that we’ve had some great experiences where Spiderman came to us for healing, rather than just calling us in.
Of course, any character who calls for Support and then runs away and starts another fight is also quite, um, challenging to root for. Or the tanks that don’t use cover. Or Scarlet Witch when she phases and you can’t help. The list goes on.
Well, with great power comes great responsibility, right? So, even when the non-Strategists annoy them, Strategists will always help them out. And, thanks to the devs’ balancing philosophy, we know they’ll come up with a way to give the Strategists the recognition they deserve. So, see you out there, call us if you need healing, and remember to stay put while we help you.
