Everyone loves getting new skins! It’s such a nice little treat that can motivate a player to grind, at least for a while. Well, the Marvel Rivals community will have to grind quite a lot this week, as Hela and Loki are getting new Costumes. Judging by the players’ initial reactions, these skins will be quite popular.
Loki and Hela Are Getting New Costumes
On April 21, the devs revealed which Heroes would be getting new skins this week. James, the Community Manager, made an announcement and shared some details on the official Discord channel.
James noted: “Heed the calling of the Kirisaki Mountain! Emerge through the misty mountain with pride and honor as Loki’s Shin Sagi-Shi and Hela’s Yami no Karasu costumes. Prove your enemies wrong by embracing your divinity and ascending the throne! Do you have what it takes to traverse through the fog?”.
As always, the Community Manager gave players a sneak peek at the upcoming skins. Both Loki and Hela look simply magnificent. These Costumes will be available on April 25 at 4 am CET (April 25 at 2 am UTC).
Players Are Excited for the First Hela Skin in a While
While Loki already has several Costumes, Marvel Rivals players were overjoyed that Hela will get her first skin since the S0 battlepass (if you don’t count the Twitch skin in S1). And what an amazing design!
MLG-NOOBSLYER noted: “Guys, we finally won, WE GOT OUR FIRST HELA SKIN”. Strong_Terry added: “I wish more people were Hela mains. I see cracked out Helas, and I just wish I was playing with them for the team up”.
Now that Hela is finally getting s new skin, maybe we’ll see her more often? We truly hope we will, as she can be quite a force. Also, the players were quite pleased that the devs listened to their request, once more.
As for the Loki Costume, well, it’s an instant hit. Loki is quite a popular character with plenty of skins, and we’re sure we’ll be seeing this one quite a lot. One player stated: “I’ve bought every loki skin till now and damn it, i will buy this one too. All of peach momoko’s skins are hela fire”.
Which Costume do you prefer? Truth be told, both are quite aesthetically pleasing! So, time to grind, we guess. Enjoy Season 2, be nice to your Strategists, and see you out there.
