Wondering if Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth will be on Game Pass? We have the answer here. Stick around for all the details about the game’s availability at launch, according to developers.
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth marks one of the first big gaming releases of the year — and one of the most highly anticipated. The upcoming installment to the Yakuza saga brings Ichiban Kasuga and co-protagonist Kazuma Kiryu to the forefront in an action RPG setting, which spans from Japan to the island of Hawaii. Following a long list of mainline entries and spin-offs, the next title in line is set to receive a widely accessible release across virtually all platforms. This begs the question: Will Infinite Wealth be available on Game Pass? Despite fan speculation, developers have made their decision — at least, for now.
- Experience one-of-a-kind combat with dynamic, fast-paced RPG battles where the battlefield becomes your weapon, and anything goes.
- Adapt your party’s skills to the situation with outlandish jobs and customizations to strategically subdue enemies with over-the-top moves.
- Live it up in Japan and explore all that Hawaii has to offer in an adventure so big it spans the Pacific.
- Unforgettable moments await at every step of the journey with a unique mix of quests and activities to enjoy at your leisure.

Is Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth Coming to Game Pass?
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth won’t be available on Game Pass at launch. This decision was confirmed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio director and producer Masayoshi Yokoyama in a December interview with Automaton Media. The studio head further explained the team’s intentions behind the decision to release the last installment, Like a Dragon Gaiden, on the paid subscription service last year — and it looks like this pattern won’t be continued with the upcoming entry.
“At the moment, there are no plans for Infinite Wealth to come to Game Pass.
This is connected to what I mentioned earlier, but for Gaiden, I thought of Game Pass as a way of ‘handing overseas users our business card.’ In other words, letting players new to the series enjoy the game and get to know Kiryu. Game Pass proved to be a very good method to invite new users to interact with the series.”
Masayoshi Yokoyama, Director of Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio
While this doesn’t exactly rule out a future decision to bring the new title to Game Pass, it’s clear that Yokoyama and the development team don’t have the same incentive to execute this plan with the new chapter as they did with the previous release. For now, it’s safe to say Infinite Wealth won’t be arriving on the service anytime soon.
