Jedi: Survivor is now live in a few time zones, and players are making progress in their intergalactic adventure as the series protagonist, Cal Kestis. For those who didn’t play Jedi: Fallen Order when it was released back in 2019, it’s likely an exciting, yet jarring experience to jump into the new installment.
This is due in large part to the in-game mechanics. Both titles are narratively-driven RPGs that are segmented into levels, which offer opportunities to save your game or rest within marked Meditation points.
With that being said, how exactly do you save your game in Jedi: Survivor? The mechanic can easily throw new players for a loop, so we’re here to cover the basics.
- Features a LEGO brick-built version of Luke Skywalker’s iconic toy X-wing Fighter to recreate scenes from the classic Star Wars trilogy
- The X-wing features an opening LEGO minifigure cockpit, space for R2-D2 droid and wings that can be switched to attack position with a button
- The X-wing buildable toy also features retractable landing gear and 2 spring-loaded shooters, plus an R2-D2 LEGO droid figure to fit in
- Includes Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia and General Dodonna LEGO Star Wars minifigures with weapons including Luke’s lightsaber
- This set comes with step-by-step, illustrated instructions so even first time young builders can build with Jedi-like confidence
How Do You Meditate in Jedi: Survivor?
Whether you refer to the save mechanic as saving, resting, or meditating, the idea remains the same and requires the use of Meditation points in Jedi: Survivor. There is no other way to save from the main menu.
In Jedi: Survivor, you will find Meditation points located on the ground throughout each level. These areas are indicated by dotted rings, which fittingly resemble the galaxy.

When you step into a Meditation point, your playable character, Cal, will enter a meditative state. You’ll then be given a few options:
- Stances
- Rest
- Skills
To save, simply select Rest. Doing so will save your progress and restore your health, but be warned; this will also cause defeated enemies within the level to respawn. While Meditation points are usually situated a solid distance away from spawn zones, it’s something to keep in mind if you aren’t expecting to fight more enemies.
Because Jedi: Survivor is narratively-driven, we do recommend saving at any point that you’re given the opportunity to do so, as you may not know what to expect moving forward. While the autosave feature may help to retain your progress in the case of a lost battle or falling off a level, manually saving at Meditation points will guarantee that your hard-earned progress is kept in the long run.
