The relationship between Xbox and PC Game Pass and Wild Hearts is unique. Most games that end up as trials on the service come to it entirely upon release. Some games, however, can just be trials, such as Wild Hearts.
When you’re done with the trial, you’ll have to decide whether to purchase the full game or not.
Is Wild Hearts on Game Pass?
It looks like Wild Hearts won’t be coming to Game Pass soon, and the developer hasn’t even hinted at it.
A Game Pass subscription does not guarantee that the trials offered on the service will become full games. The game was only available as a 10-hour trial for Game Pass Ultimate subscribers because that service came with EA Play. EA Play offers the trial, but only EA Plus offers the full game.
Anyone who enjoyed the game’s trial should either buy the full game or subscribe to EA Pro. The game is $69.99, while a year subscription to EA Pro is $99.99. So, in this case, EA Pro is only $30 more than the cost of Wild Hearts. That’s a pretty good deal since you’ll get Wild Hearts for free in addition to every new game from EA for free for a year.

Why Did Wild Hearts Only Get a Trial on Game Pass?
Game Pass Ultimate gets everything EA Play gets because EA Play is free with a Game Pass Ultimate subscription. Wild Hearts is a new game from EA, and new games aren’t typically part of EA Play. EA Play usually gets free trials, so it ended up on Game Pass.
Game Pass was only getting EA Games for free originally because EA Play was releasing a lot of older games onto the service. EA Pro is the only way gamers can get new games from EA, so if you want new games, you must sign up for EA Pro.
