Dead Island 2 is a popular survival horror game that has great scenes of brutal death. One question that often comes up is whether the game has a photo mode, a feature that has become increasingly common in modern video games.
Below we’ll discuss photo mode and whether Dead Island 2 has it.
Does Dead Island 2 Have A Photo Mode?
Unfortunately, the answer is no. This means that you cannot pause the action and take in-game photos and mess with it, like with Guardians of the Galaxy. However, PC players can take screenshots by using the Print Screen key and pasting them into image editing software like Photoshop.
Console players on PlayStation or Xbox can use the dedicated share buttons on their controllers to capture screenshots and videos of their gameplay. That won’t do anything else though.

Although there are ways to capture gameplay footage, the lack of a dedicated photo mode means that the HUD cannot be hidden, making it difficult to capture aesthetically pleasing shots. This normally is used for Instagram and Twitter, and to show how cool the game looks.
Could Dead Island 2 Get A Photo Mode Later?
Dead Island 2 may receive a photo mode in the future. Many games have received updates that add photo modes after launch. Additionally, modders could create a mod that adds a photo mode or allows players to remove the HUD.
The developers of Dead Island 2, Dambuster Studios, have not made any announcements regarding the addition of a photo mode. However, developers often listen to player feedback and add new features to their games, and photo mode could be one of them.
