Hexwork’s reboot to their 2014 action role-playing game Lords of the Fallen is finally getting launched and fans can’t wait to get back into the parallel worlds of both Axiom and Umbral. The game has been deemed a Soulslike title since it is heavily inspired by such a video game genre.

Now that Lords of the Fallen is one of the hot topics in the gaming scene as of late, the community can’t help but compare it to 2022’s Elden Ring from FromSoftware. Some are even musing on the idea that the former is connected to the latter. Are their stories intertwined?

Are Lords of the Fallen and Elden Ring Connected?

To squash such speculations, there’s no correlation between the two games. However, there’s no denying that there are some similarities. Cezar Virtosu – Hexwork’s creative director, revealed during an interview with Edge that when details about Elden Ring were released, they were pretty much disheartened. Moreover, he went on to claim that one of the weapons and bosses in their game has striking similarities with that of Elden Ring.
