Now, does Lord Of The Rings: Gollum have multiplayer? No, it does not. As a matter of fact, the game won’t be having any online elements whatsoever, which means there’s no way for you to go against your friends in a multiplayer game mode. There is also no couch or split screen multiplayer option.
This comes as a shock to many players, as they were hoping for a game mode similar to the newer Hitman series, where friends are pitted against each other in a time based multiplayer mode. The aim of this mode is to see which player is able to complete a specific stage quicker. Throw in some special conditions like making it stealth only or a pacifist run and you have yourself a recipe for a very good time.
