Fans of the franchise are musing about what the developers have in store for them this time in the upcoming game installment.

Will Cities Skylines 2 Be On PS4?
Cities Skylines 2 will not be playable on a PS4. The soon-to-be-released will only be available on PC and current-generation consoles (PS5 and Xbox Series X/S), though the latter will be rolled out next year.
There’s no indication from Colossal Order that they would be releasing such a version including ports for other previous-gen game machines like Xbox One, Xbox One S, and even on Nintendo Switch.

Will Cities Skylines 2 Be On PS5?
Yes, Cities Skylines 2 will be playable on a PlayStation 5. When the game was announced back in March, Colossal Order also revealed on which current-gen platforms will the game be playable. However, the release date for consoles (both PS5 and Xbox Series X/S) was bumped until June 30, 2024.
It is indeed frustrating that older game consoles like the PS4 were singled out for Cities Skylines 2.
