Sometimes, when you are low on cash in games, you may resort to using cheat codes to fix that. In The Sims, a game that clearly served as a major inspiration for inZOI, using cheat codes is so common that it has almost become a staple of the game. Nothing like that slight rush when doing a “bad” deed. But, for inZOi, it looks like the devs expected it, and made the money cheat accessible for everyone. It’s not fun if you are allowed to do it!
We can’t ignore the fact that inZOI is heavily inspired by The Sims, but focusing more on the people themselves than on building huge mansions. On that last note, we all tried making huge buildings in The Sims at some point, costing millions of Simoleons. Naturally, we all resorted to cheat codes to make us instantly rich, to keep up with our lavish demands. Now, does something similar exist in inZOI? It sure does! Is it as thrilling? Well…
Krafton Made the Money Cheat in inZOI Accessible to Everyone
It looks like the economy is not an important factor in inZOI, as everyone can become a millionaire with just a couple of clicks. You’d expect that it is done by using a secret cheat code of some sort, but nothing can be further from the truth.
As it turns out, you can “legally” get tons of money in inZOI, with only a couple of clicks. There is a “give me more money” button in the game. As simple as that! Now, where is it?
If you access the Psicat’s Guide (the little book with the question mark on it, found in the lower-right corner of your screen), you can see a couple of big buttons in the lower-left corner of the Guide: Customer Support, Use Money Cheat, Emergency Rescue. Click on the Use Money Cheat to get 100.000 Meows. And that is all! Each click will net you the same amount of cash, so click on it to your heart’s content.
It is not as fun and “naughty” as using a real cheat code (making it readily accessible for all takes out all the fun), but it’s there. So if you don’t want to bother with going to work and making money the old-fashioned way, there is a “legal” way to be rich.
If this feels way too simple for you, remember that you can Interevene and make your good Karma ZOIs win the lottery.
The devs did say that some real cheat codes are on the way in May, so until then, we “only” have the Money Cheat. It really looks like their focus is on players having fun in any way they want, rules and regulations be damned!
