“It Just Isn’t Fair” Infinity Nikki Players Are Enraged by Time-Limited Pulls

Infinity Nikki looking surprised.

All gacha games lovers know the deal, it’s always a pull or a roll and the rest is just, well, let’s say luck. This game is no different. However, Infinity Nikki players are now complaining as an upcoming event will bring time-limited pulls. This is the problem with the majority of gacha games, as a free game becomes pay-to-win because of time limitations.

Time-Limited Pulls Are Unfair to Players

As you know, Infinity Nikki dropped on December 5, and in the short period since its release it managed to amass a huge following. We truly find the still-forming community to be one of the most wholesome ones. So, when a player expresses their concerns, it isn’t surprising that the community members will provide support.

One such player, divebars5G, took to Reddit upon seeing the announcement for an upcoming event. This event will give the players Companion’s Day Gifts. So, starting December 18 (until December 29), players should log in daily to get a Limited-time Revelation Crystal*5 (expires on December 29) and Shining Particles.

Event details show there will be time-limited pulls in Infinity Nikki.

The OP noted: “If region updates will happen every 6 months how will we get extra gems in the meantime? Events seem the only viable thing in the meantime but giving these time-limited pulls especially only 5 is legitimately worthless. I absolutely love this game but the gacha seems greedier than others I’ve played”.

Infinity Nikki Community Suggests a Plan

As we stated, the Infinity Nikki community is quite close-knit, so the players decided to fight against time-limited pulls. The idea is if no one pays, the devs will realize they need to readjust their monetization strategy.

Darklillies said: “They’re seeing what they can get away with. If this proves profitable, they’ll keep doing it. Don’t fall into it. Both complain and let them know in the surveys and don’t spend any money on the game until you feel like they’re actually valuing you as a player. They’re only greedy when we let them”.

Another player, FiberFaerie, added: “I’m going to be spending LESS money on this game if they keep making it so unfair. If it were more viable to collect the limited outfits, then I would try to be more of a completionist (and they’d get more money from me).  they’re going to feel the heat if they keep it up, it’s going to hurt their integrity and their business in the end. I hope they listen to the players and make some respectable changes”.

The community will try to put pressure on the devs to rethink this entire event and the time-limited pulls. Truth be told, we don’t mind free-to-play games having a way to earn money, however, there are some more efficient and fair ways to achieve that. So, make your voice heard and, hopefully, we’ll achieve something together.
