Jeanne’s Magic (Thorn Bind)

Jeanne’s magical abilities in Bayonetta Origins include the powerful Thorn Bind, similar to Cereza’s, which immobilizes opponents. However, Jeanne’s version boasts a larger area-of-effect (AoE), enabling her to restrain multiple enemies simultaneously and allowing her Red Cheshire Charles to devastate them with melee attacks.

The trade-off for this enhanced Thorn Bind ability is a longer cooldown period. To maximize its effectiveness, focus on inflicting substantial damage to clusters of enemies using Charles before the duration of Jeanne’s Thorn Bind expires.

Charles

Similar to Cereza, Jeanne has her own version of Cheshire, featuring her iconic red color. This Red Cheshire, Charles, can transform at will using any of the four Elemental Cores or alternate between Unleashed and Hug Mode during the post-game chapter.
