How To Use Henrietta’s Map To Find Treasure in Hogwarts Legacy
Once you’ve found Henrietta’s map, a quest will begin, which will show you a treasure location. The map exhibits the ruins, a dragon statue, and instructions on how to use fire and ice spells. Additionally, a hand-drawn map of the site is available, which corresponds to the bottom-south section of the in-game map.
To reach the treasure location conveniently, you can fast-travel to the Floo Flame located at South Clagmar Coast and proceed to the ruins towards the west. The precise location can be found on the map provided below.
Once you arrive at the treasure location, venture inside Herodiana’s Hideout, which is a cave situated beneath the ruins. Inside, you must acquire two chests and place them on the designated plates to unlock the first door. One box features a fire symbol, while the other displays an ice symbol and you must place them on the manhole on the floor with the same symbol. Use Accio to move the cubes, Incendio on the fire cube, and Glacius on the ice cube.
Once you do that, the main door will open, revealing a Hippogriff statue that is surrounded by blazing braziers.
The solution to this puzzle is relatively straightforward. The treasure map shows which braziers should be lit and which should be extinguished. To execute this task precisely, use Confringo or Incendio to light the braziers and Glacius to extinguish those that have been lit incorrectly. If you accomplish everything correctly, the treasure box will appear behind the statue.

How To Solve Puzzle With Henrietta’s Map in Hogwarts Legacy
To solve the puzzle, you must first extinguish the flames surrounding the Hippogriff. Following that, you should only light the braziers that are marked on Henrietta’s Map. The braziers that need to be lit are as follows, assuming you are facing the Hippogriff:
- The brazier at the rear of the Hippogriff
- The brazier on the left side of the Hippogriff
- The brazier on the right side of the Hippogriff
- The brazier on the right front side of the Hippogriff
Once you have successfully lit the specified braziers, a wall at the back will slide open, revealing a chest containing an item. Open the vault, and your reward for solving the puzzle is the Treasure-Seekers Gloves, which can be used as an appearance option.
