Where to Harvest Venomous Tentacula in Hogwarts Legacy
One of the easiest ways to collect Venomous Tentacula is to harvest mature plants from Professor Garlick’s greenhouse in Hogwarts Legacy. This location is separate from the professor’s classroom, which is opposite a second greenhouse that houses combat plants. These include Chinese Chomping Cabbage and the deadly Venomous Tentacula.
Following the events of the game, you should be led to this location by another student named Leander. However, it’s easy enough to find on your own if you missed out on harvesting Venomous Tentacula the first time around. What’s more, the plants will continue to regrow, so you can always head back to top off your supply later on.
Where to Buy Venomous Tentacula in Hogwarts Legacy
You can purchase mature Venomous Tentacula from Dogweed and Deathcap for 600 Galleons in Hogwarts Legacy. The plant shop also sells seeds to grow and harvest your own plants, which will set you back 1,050 Galleons. However, you’ll first need to unlock the Room of Requirement and buy a large pot to grow your own Venomous Tentacula, so I recommend purchasing mature plants earlier on in the game.
Dogweed and Deathcap is located just North of Hogsmeade. You’ll need to make a short trek to reach the shop, as it’s found outside of the bustling shopping district. Just set a waypoint on your map and follow the directions as indicated on your mini-map to reach the shop in no time.
How to Grow Venomous Tentacula in Hogwarts Legacy
To grow Venomous Tentacula in Hogwarts Legacy, you’re going to need access to the Room of Requirement, as well as a large pot to plant your seeds. The room is unlocked after completing the Tomes and Tribulations quest, which can be reached after a few hours into the game’s story. However, you’ll have to purchase a spellcraft for a large pot for 1,000 Galleons from Tomes and Scrolls in Hogsmeade.
Inside the Room of Requirement, you can place various furniture and décor items, some of which have practical uses like brewing potions or growing plants. Simply place your large pot anywhere you like, then plant your Venomous Tentacula seeds to begin growing your own supply of the combat plant. It’ll take 15 minutes for the plant to reach maturity. Once harvested, it will continue to regrow, providing you an endless supply.
Methods for obtaining Venomous Tentacula are available from very early on in Hogwarts Legacy, allowing you to choose which route is best for you. As you make progress in the game and earn money, it becomes much easier to get your hands on the deadly plant, which proves useful in combat. I recommend stocking up, as you never know when this plant might come in handy during a battle against poachers or goblins.
