The democratic news are in, and Claorell has been secured. This brings us one step closer to establishing the DSS – a major milestone for every dedicated Helldiver in the galaxy. However, the question is posed – what next? How can we prevent the enclosing enemy forces from threatening the station’s construction? Some players have started strategising about the possible opportunities.
Both bots and bugs have to be stopped
Now that Claorell is safe, we have two real options. Either to go for Lesath and face the Automatons or to Pandion to face the Terminids. At least, that’s how most of the players discussing the matter see it. However, the silent majority – those who don’t take part in online discussions seem to have flocked to Vog-Sojath. This represents an opportunity to band together and liberate the planet from the bots. As McManGuy puts it: “Seems like Vog-Sojath is where most bot divers are going. I think this is wrong, but I feel like I gotta bite the bullet and go with the group.”
There are two more matters to clear up. One, we are yet to see the ramifications of successfully completing the Claorell Major Order. One possibility is that it could speed up the construction of DSS, or maybe provide a bonus against Automatons. Ax-Stark has considered the same question: “I don’t think we even need to build the Deep Mantle Forge, as we steal the one built by the Automaton on Claorell, so the construction of the DSS can go even faster!” We’ll have to wait and see. Secondly, there is the question of what the next Major Order will entail. Will it continue the push against the bots, or will it shift our focus to something else? That is something that we’ll find out in the coming days.
We will keep an eye on the developments on the galactic front. For now, the next Major Order is the next huge question mark. What do you hope to see as our next objective?
