There’s been a lot of tension in the community lately. Joel dangled a carrot in front of the bugdivers, they took the bait and the Major Order failed. The only thing that could unite the players now is their devotion to Managed Democracy. Some leaks suggest the Helldivers 2 players will be able to show just how much they love Managed Democracy, as Super Earth now supports the Urban Environments. In other words, there is a chance the players will finally get to visit the best planet in the galaxy.
Leaks Offer a Look at Urban Environments on Super Earth
In the early hours of January 23, one of the most prolific Helldivers 2 leakers, IronS1ghts, shared their latest findings with the community. They simply noted: “(Leak) Super Earth now supports Urban Environments”.
The leaker added: “It has a unique biome, however it is currently using a sort of placeholder one. Probably a testing environment for now”. So, the final product will most likely be a modified version of the Urban Environment we all know.
RoseDark noted: “I really hope Super Earth is gonna get a proper biome instead of reusing already existing one. (I’m fine with a relatively small city map, but it needs to stand out as Yes, this is the cradle of Humanity and the beating heart of the empire which is Super Earth Federation).
Helldivers Are Ready for a Challenge
Helldivers 2 players who fought in the First Galactic War had already fought on Super Earth, so these leaks make perfect sense. Super Earth is likely to become Helldivers’ battleground at one point or another. Some hope that will be a treat for the game’s first anniversary.
However, the majority of players fight on other planets as fiercely as they would on Super Earth. So, they wanted to know if they could expect to see other factions in the Urban Environments any time soon. Unfortunately, as of the time of writing this article, there hasn’t been any news about bugs and bots in the Urban Environments. We suppose the devs are working on that and we’ll keep you posted.
In the meantime, pay close attention to Super Earth. There are some plans for a Special Event in the files, and we can’t help but wonder if they’re somehow connected to the best planet in the universe. Stay vigilant, for Liberty and Super Earth.
