We love it when we see players taking initiative! Unfortunately, these efforts are usually unsuccessful, as by the time the entire plate base takes notice, they’ve already failed. The best example for this is probably Martale, it took players several attempts before they managed to take it. Well, this effort will be one and done! A small group of Helldivers 2 players has been fighting valiantly on Troost for days, and they are almost done.
Helldivers Will Liberate Troost
A lot has been going on in the Helldivers 2 community recently. The current Major Order had a stellar start, but it seems that not knowing in-game mechanics will once again cause the players to fail the MO. On a grander scale, many players have been distracted by a vague announcement for a new Warbond, and the Singularity Party, which could mean an update.
So, a tiny group of Helldivers 2 players that has been fighting on Troost for days has gone under everyone’s radar. However, now that they are a step away from victory, their effort has come into the spotlight.
When we say a tiny group, we mean it! You see, Troost is now 99,25% liberated. According to a third-party app, DiversHub, there are 361 Helldivers on this planet in the Trigon Sector, and they need around two and a half hours to liberate it fully.
This liberation could have a huge strategic impact, so this could soften the blow from losing the current Major Order. One of the players fighting there, SavedaveO6 noted: “Look, I’m no strategist, but I think taking Troost so we have a stronger foothold in the Trigon Sector is a smart move. Especially when it’s at 98%. So, please just send like 1-4k Helldivers over here so we can just claim this planet already”.
So, dear diver, you know what to do! Sure, Major Order is a priority, and we’ll be diving on Imber as soon as we liberate Troost. The more divers there are, the faster we’ll get it done. For Liberty and Super Earth.
