“Tonight, We Dive in Hell” Helldivers 2 Players Adore the Urban Legends Warbond

New Emote in Urban Legends Warbond in Helldivers 2

December 13 was quite eventful for Helldivers. Not only was there a huge update and a patch full of buffs, but a new Warbond dropped, as well. Quite a day! So, while you fight the Illuminate, you’ll do it in style. Many Helldivers 2 players were blown away by everything the Urban Legends Warbond brought to the game.

What Will You Find in the Urban Legends Warbond?

Arrowhead decided to give quite a treat to Helldivers. The new Warbond features two armor sets, a Secondary melee weapon (first ever!), three Stratagems, Concrete Jungle patterns, utilities, player banners, capes, an emote (This is Democracy), and a new player title.

The Helldivers 2 Community Manager made a blog that detailed everything. She noted: “Citizens of Super Earth! Do not fear the resurgence of Illuminate scum – the Helldivers will be ready to fight them in the streets, at your doorsteps, and on the city borders and boundaries! The Ministry of Defense is authorizing the sale and distribution of the Urban Legends Premium Warbond to all Helldivers, available starting now”.

Arrowhead, Helldivers 2 developer, also posted an amazing, chilling trailer that showed off everything you can get in the Urban Legends Warbond. Truth be told, this might be our favorite Warbond so far, as it’s very aesthetically pleasing, but also extremely functional. Don’t even get us started on the “This is Democracy” emote.

The New Warbond Won Over the Helldivers

So, how did the Helldivers react? Wonderfully! Helldivers 2 players were completely overwhelmed by the amount of new content that Arrowhead dropped, and the Urban Legends Warbond was a cherry on top. Therefore, the players gladly shared their first impressions.

One player, jotair, noticed: “Urban Legends is such a great name. We got our first urban maps. Helldivers with urban camo. Most important: a hundred years without the Illuminates, so they were just urban legends to the new divers”. TheReginator added: “With zombies called Voteless no less. Whoever was in charge of naming things absolutely cooked”.

Furthermore, the players loved all the references to one epic movie, and so did we. One player, somerandomdokutah, stated: “Ah the Sparta-n build, lance for close-ups, crossbow for ranged while always holding your shield up, Super Leonidas has passed us the teachings of Super Sparta! Funny enough, this Warbond is a 300 reference and yes it is viable”. Another player raved: “A lance!? A shield!? A Corinthian helmet!? A Spartan kick!? This is our Thermopylae, boys”.

So, get your Stun Lance and one of those amazing new capes, and let’s fry some Squids. The Major Order is in progress, you’ll find us there. By the looks of it, it’s an all-hands-on-deck situation. For Liberty and Super Earth.
