All Super Earth supporters know that their biggest holiday is just around the corner. Liberty Day is celebrated every year on October 26. Players would appreciate getting a free Warbond for their first Liberty Day since the launch of Helldivers 2.
Celebrating Liberty Day in Style – Helldivers Share Their Wishes
As you know, the wishlist for Liberty Day is quite extensive. Several storylines have been unraveling for months, so the players have high expectations about finding out what will happen with Meridia, the Xenoentomology Center, and, of course, the Democracy Space Station. Let’s not forget the highly-anticipated arrival of the Illuminate, which would spice up Liberty Day.
However, the one thing that the majority of Helldivers 2 would love to see come to fruition on Liberty Day has to be a brand-new free Warbond. Let’s face it, every player thoroughly enjoyed completing that first Warbond. It was exciting, fresh, and new. And, most importantly, you didn’t have to grind for it.
The High Command would be very proud of some Helldivers for their very democratic demands. Gravelayer suggested: “A flag to free the planets that we liberate”. TransientMemory took the idea further. This player joked: “Flag on a staff secondary to plant on enemy corpses”.
Of course, you can’t have a Warbond without some cool armor. TheCowboyMartyr stated: “Literally all the armors from Helldivers 1”. The_gaming_wisp added: “Light armor with democracy protects”.
Helldivers Share the Top Wish for a Free Warbond
Since the latest patch buffed plenty of weapons, including the Senator and the Purifier, Helldivers have greatly enjoyed themselves. However, although the freshly buffed weapons feel new, many have asked for some actually new weapons that would diversify their experience. So, aside from obligatory new capes, the number one wish for the Warbond is weapons, as many as possible.
FaoileanGael shared: “I mean we got an energy/plasma-themed bond, a fire-themed bond, a fart gas bond. Now I need a GUNS GUNS GUNS AND MORE GUNS bond. I love good ole ballistic weapons. The Senator? Why limit me to one? Let me have two”.
One player, st0rmagett0n, stated: “The Constitution rifle from HD1. It’s a round-reloaded rifle that had decent damage and could have a bayonet attached to it for increased melee damage. If added, it would bring more diversity to round reloaded weapons”. Several other players suggested the bayonet, and, believe it or not, it might be coming.
Honestly, we’d be more than happy to get any of these, or at the very least to see some progress with the storylines. Until then, you’ll find us on Estanu, we’ll be the ones with all the knives. For Liberty and Super Earth.
