While Helldivers 2 have been on an upward trend since the release of the last big patch, there always something that brings the fans down. So it’s always nice to reflect on something positive and wholesome whenever a chance pops up. For one, an interaction between a player and Arrowhead customer support was enough to shine a light and bring smiles to our faces.
Arrowhead customer support is a beacon of liber-tea values
A HD2 fan who goes by TheLegitPilot19 on Reddit posted a recent interaction they had with Arrowhead’s customer support. “I just wish to take a moment of appreciation to the support team at Arrowhead. It’s in-character responses like these that make me giggle. Love you guys, keep up the fantastic work.”
The OP explained that after buying the game’s Super Citizen bundle that comes with Steeled Veterans Warbond, they asked for action since their account already unlocked that Warbond before. The customer service not only responded in-character, but also took action and reimbursed the player with 1000 Super Credits so that they can buy another Warbond of their choosing.
This response was not only wholesome and hilarious, but also incredibly helpful. It is a breath of fresh air for the industry and we can’t help but applaud it. As expected, the replies on the thread were just as supportive. ”That’s the most democratic customer service response I have ever seen.” Another commenter, Chefbenjy, added with another CS quote they’ve seen: “I once saw one of these customer support SEAF high command agents of the Ministry of Prosperity, sign off with “may your vote always be a deciding one” and that is one the hardest in universe lines I have ever heard.”
Between all the positivity, Desxon asked a very good question: “I love that they refund credits, but I feel like it’s time to finally change how the Super Citizen edition works and simply give us the 1000 SCs by default… that way everyone can buy it and chose what Warbond they wanna start with or like me, get 1000 SCs for the upcoming Warbond that ain’t even announced.” That’s a fair point, given that Steeled Veterans was followed by plenty of Warbonds since the game was released. The suggestion to simply change it to 1000 Super Credits has some merits. But besides that, we are always happy to see good interactions between the players and Arrowhead, and we hope that there’s even more to come.
