It’s been a long and challenging week for Helldivers. The wormhole is just about ready to, um, do whatever a wormhole does. However, the players don’t have a lot of time to sit around and watch as the Jet Brigade returned. Even though the DSS helped a lot, the Jet Brigade started spreading, thus, the new Major Order sends Helldivers 2 players to help out on the bot front and prevent further attacks.
Players Have to Fend Off Jet Brigade Attacks for the Major Order
On February 4, a new Major Order arrived. After successfully destroying the factories on Chort Bay for the previous Major Order, it is now time to deal with the leftover Jet Brigade. As always, the MO arrived with a briefing.
The briefing discloses that the attack on Lesath is in progress and that the enemy clearly intends to try to take back Chort Bay. It goes on to praise Helldivers for seeing through the Automatons’ trap on Menkent and managing to delay the spread of the Jet Brigade.
The briefing notes: “The battle is far from won. The Jet Brigade, though diminished and lacking the element of surprise, remains formidable. Should LESATH fall to the Automatons, our SEAF forces deployed on CHORT BAY will be cut off from aid. Tactical egress of our forces there is ongoing, and the blockade of Menkent bought some time, but more is yet needed”.
Even though defending Lesath is crucial, the objective is to keep Chort Bay when the MO expires. At the time of writing this article, three days and five hours remain for Helldivers to do their best and keep Chort Bay.
Helldivers 2 Players Readily Accept the Order
Many players were surprised that the DSS could contribute as much as it did. It seems that they have finally figured out how to use it constructively. So, it might be of great help to Helldivers 2 players fending off the Jet Brigade attacks during this Major Order.
At the time of writing this article, Lesath is at around 43% liberated. The Eagle Storm has been of great help during this effort. It seems that the players readily took on this challenge and we can only hope they’ll be victorious.
This Major Order truly united Helldivers, as more than 60% of active players are currently on Lesath. This might be one final MO before something grand and game-changing happens.
Many players noticed that this MO expires on Friday, February 7. As you know, the first anniversary of Helldivers 2 is on February 8. So, the community hopes for some sort of a Special Event to mark the occasion. In the meantime, we’ll be diving on Lesath, and then, probably on Chort Bay, will you join us?
