“Let’s Take What’s Ours!” The Latest Major Order Sends the Helldivers 2 Players to Reclaim Various Strategic Sites

Helldivers 2 new Warbond Truth Enforcers preview

Even though the Helldivers technically failed the previous MO (they were so close to completing it!), they stopped the Meridian Singularity. Once their plan was foiled, the Illuminate once again disappeared. Now it’s time to clean up the mess they made. So, the Helldivers 2 community has to work together and reclaim all the sites of strategic importance for the freshly issued Major Order.

Helldivers Have to Liberate and Liberate Sites That the Squids Attacked

On April 29, the new MO arrived. As always, a briefing followed. The new briefing noted that the Meridian Singularity had finally been stopped. It explained that there were probably too few of the Illuminate left to be a threat. The Squids are probably in hiding to avoid “a second total annihilation”.

Still, the bugs and the bots remain a threat. Since the Squids dealt significant damage in the previous MO, the other enemies will use the opportunity and strike. As you know, the Squids attacked sites of strategic importance, so it’s crucial that these planets be under the control of Super Earth.

The briefing noted: “The Helldivers are called to the defense of these planets as our enemies surge to invade them. Helldivers are advised to expect increased enemy resistance, especially from specialized units”.

What does that mean exactly? Helldivers have to hold five planets of strategic importance when the MO expires. The planets are Fenrir III, Mastia, Turing, Claorell, and Achernar Secundus. At the time of writing this article, they have five days and seven hours left. Only Fenrir III and Turing are liberated.

Helldivers 2 Players Don’t Mind the “Filler” Major Order

Now, having to reclaim sites for the Major Order might feel quite plain and uninteresting, but the Helldivers 2 community knows what’s up. Over the last couple of days, the devs finally gave some insight into what was happening behind the scenes.

First, the CEO talked about some important fixes and issues. Mere hours later, after the players put quite a lot of pressure on the devs, the Community Manager made some announcements. This included the drop date for the announcement of the new Warbond (May 8) and yet another tease for the update. That means only a couple of MOs are left before the new content drop, and Helldivers are too excited to care what those MOs are.

One player, Kai, stated: “Nothing to worry about, everyone, we have once again completely defeated the squids and will never see them again. Definitely”. Another player, ArKane, simply added: “THIS IS THE FINAL STRETCH, LADS, FOR DEMOCRACY”.

So, dear Helldiver, we know the situation has been frustrating lately, but we have to continue spreading Managed Democracy. We’re almost there, keep your chin up. Join us on Mastia, let’s fight together. For Liberty and Super Earth.
