March 18 was a wonderful day for the Helldivers. Not only did they get an amazing update, but the devs announced the long-awaited cowboy-themed Warbond. As per usual, Helldivers 2 data miners took over and published the leaks of all the stats of the Borderline Justice Warbond. So, let’s see if it’s really as cool as it looks.

Helldivers Are Getting a New Warbond

The Borderline Justice Warbond drops in Helldivers 2 on March 20, and, according to some leaks, it might be one of the best ones so far. In this article, we’ll go over the new armor sets, sidearm, Stratagem, booster, throwable, and capes. Unfortunately, as of the time of writing this article, the R-6 Deadeye hasn’t been found in the files. Asunderknight and Tier5NPC are the data miners behind these leaks.

Leaks Reveal the Stats of Almost Everything in the Borderline Justice Warbond

Let’s start with the armor sets! The Warbond will feature two armor sets, the GS-17 Frontier Marshal and the GS-66 Lawmaker. As for the stats, the former has an armor rating of 100, a speed of 500, and a stamina regen of 100. The latter has an armor rating of 150, a speed of 450, and a stamina regen of 50.

Both of these armor sets boast the Gunslinger armor passive. It increases sidearm reload speed by 40%, sidearm draw speed by 50%, and reduces sidearm recoil by 70%. It could prove to be quite useful!

Now, speaking of sidearms, one has to mention the Las-58 Talon! The medium armor penetrating, one-handed laser revolver with solid stats. The damage is 200, the fire limit is just 1, the recoil is 2, but the fire rate is 750.

Also worth mentioning is the Ted-63 Dynamite. This medium armor-penetrating explosive deals 700 damage, has a penetration of 3, and an outer radius of 12. The fuse time is 5 seconds.

Next up, capes! As per usual, there are two capes in the Warbond, the Reaper of Bounties, and the Way of Bandolier. These capes have the same stats, the armor rating is 100, the speed is 100, and the stamina regen is 100.

Finally, the Warbond will feature a useful booster. The Sample Extricator will give you a small chance of large enemies dropping Samples when you kill them. However, it’s limited to ten drops per mission.

Helldivers Wish for One Tiny Change

So, the Helldivers actually really like this Warbond. Sure, some players will always have something to complain about, but overall, they are satisfied. Aside from one, some would say tiny, detail. Helldivers would love to see some cowboy hats.

One player, Guvon, noted: “Low key wish one of the armors at least had a cowboy hat”. Reportedly, it would be against the lore. However, we’re sure there will be some mods out there pretty soon.

So, dear Helldiver, get ready to spread some Managed Democracy, cowboy-style! The latest Major Order divided the players once more, so you can choose between the bots and the bugs. We’ll be on the bug front this time. For Liberty and Super Earth.
