“Give Us Both Enemy Factions on the Same Planet” Helldivers 2 Players Beg the Devs for a Three-Way Battle

For the last couple of weeks, the players have been adamant about the necessity of some new content. They even started coming up with ways to make the game fresh. The recent announcement by the Arrowhead CCO that three new things are coming truly hyped up the community. Since the DSS was launched, disappointed players want something that will have a big effect on the gameplay. The players would love to get vehicles, new Mission Objectives, or a new enemy faction. Some Helldivers 2 players suggest that devs at least allow them to fight both existing enemy factions in a three-way battle.

Helldivers 2 Players Want to Fight Both Enemy Factions Simultaneously

This, of course, isn’t the first time the players have asked for a three-way battle. Imagine how epic that would be, Helldivers, bugs, and bots, all on the same planet, all fighting each other. If you check out the Galactic Map, you’ll see just how close the fronts are.

MastuhWaffles mused: “I mean since the bugs and bots are almost kissing maybe we could have some planets where there is a 3-way all-out battle on the planet? Bugs, bots, and Helldivers?”. At the time of writing this article, almost 7k Helldivers upvoted this idea.

HoldinTucox- added: “They should still be able to “battle” each other even if we can’t see it. It would be cool to see them pushing into each other’s territory. I don’t know how it would work, but that would really add to the Galactic War feeling. Also who knows, maybe they have no idea about each other lore-wise and their main focus is Super Earth”.

Don’t Expect a Three-Way Battle Soon

Unfortunately, Helldivers 2 fans will have to wait a while before (and if) they get to fight both enemy factions in a three-way battle. As we’ve mentioned, this isn’t the first time the players asked for this epic fight. However, due to technical difficulties, bugs and bots refuse to engage.

Rilvoron recalled: “The developers have already said they have issues with the AI system and having the enemies fight each other. So, unless they get that figured out which doesn’t seem to be a priority, we would most likely just see remnants of fighting like dead bots, and bugs all over the place but no actual presence of active fighting”.

Furthermore, some players think that one faction has a clear advantage, so it wouldn’t be much of a fight. Bruninfa explained: “Pretty sure Automatons would wipe Terminids absurdly, wouldn’t be that much of an interaction. It would be a whole lot of effort to make it happen for something that in principle is cool but actually not that interactive”.

Still, we’d love to see it happen someday, that would be so epic. In the meantime, you’ll have to choose between bots and bugs. Thankfully, for the current Major Order, you can fight whomever you want. For Liberty and Super Earth.
