Helldivers require your help! At the time of writing this article, the Major Order ends in around 24 hours, Crimsica is under attack and the most devoted Helldivers 2 players are sacrificing their lives trying to defend it. You better hurry up, the clock is ticking.
What’s Going on With the Major Order?
As you know, players need to liberate and keep 5 planets to complete the current Major Order. They were quite efficient with liberating the planets, but you never know when those pesky bugs will strike. Thankfully, so far, all of the bugs’ attempts failed. We presume that all of the wonderful buffs that came with the latest patch truly motivated the players.
However, Joel decided to throw another curve ball, as the bugs from the Gloom attacked Crimsica. At the same time, there is a defense campaign on Estanu as well. Some players pointed out a chilling fact, just in time for Liberty Day.
TheTrueCorreia noted: “I’ve got a bad feeling about this. I think Joel is up to something. If either of these planets fall there is a straight path from the Gloom to Meridia, and I don’t think that’s on accident”. We always thought the Illuminate would come through the Meridia black hole, but maybe it would have a role in the Terminid evolution?
Helldivers 2 Players Split Between Crimsica and Estanu
As you may have expected, proximity to Meridia was a wake-up call for many players. Not only does the Major Order depend on the defense of Crimsica, but many Helldivers 2 players dread the possibility of bugs reaching the black hole. Since Estanu is the other planet under attack, players are trying to coordinate and somehow manage to defend both planets. Of course, they prioritized Crimsica.
VunderFiz noted: “Hey Bugdivers, I’d advise just ignoring Estanu and heavily focusing on Crimsica. It’s literally too important rn to lose. I’m only saying something cause it’s cutting just 2 hours off from becoming a loss and that could change in a heartbeat”.
Another player, Fit_Squash9923, suggested: “Maybe when we are ahead by a lot like 20%, then we can send some Helldivers to Estanu. So we can win 2 defense campaigns”.
Fortunately, as of now, it seems that the Helldivers will be victorious once again, well, at least partially. Third-party apps predict that Crimsica will be defended with an hour to spare, however, the future of Estanu seems Gloom-y.
So, grab that bunch of knives, and all of the buffed weapons you can carry, and meet us on Crimsica. If we manage to defend it sooner, maybe we can salvage Estanu as well. For Liberty and Super Earth.
