“Bugdivers Always Get Special Treatment” Some Helldivers 2 Players Are Salty as Heeth Is Finally Liberated

Hellpods dropping to the surface in Helldivers 2.

You win some, you lose some. Sometimes even at the same time! This is exactly what happened with the very recent liberation of Heeth. While bugdivers celebrate the victory on Heeth, the rest of the Helldivers 2 players are quite peeved. According to them, bugdivers should have prioritized the Major Order over their own agenda.

Bugdivers Liberated Heeth

The battle of Heeth is finally over! After ignoring the Heeth gambit during the previous MO (and still managing to complete it), bugdivers came back to this planet and liberated it. It took them quite a lot of time and even some additional Effects.

The devs decided to give the players a little treat in the form of a Warfront Development. The enemy forces were decimated by a catastrophic weather event, giving the bugdivers a much-needed boost to continue with the liberation.

At the time of writing this article, bugdivers are celebrating and plotting which planet to take next. One of the main contenders is Cirrus, so if you’re looking to join them, check the Galactic Map to see where to go.

The Rest of Helldivers 2 Players Aren’t too Fond of the Bugdivers

Generally, most Helldivers would be impressed, however, a Major Order is in progress on the Illuminate front. So, some Helldivers 2 players believe that Joel was playing favorites when he “gave” Heeth to bugdivers. Some even accused him of purposefully ruining Helldivers’ chances at completing the Major Order.

Still, the tension between the bugdivers and the rest of the Helldivers is growing. Ghost_of_Caratacus noted: “It only took ruining an MO and the devs intervening to tip the scales in your favor to try and stop you ruining the MO. Congratulations, bugdivers”. Another player, This_Implement_8430, added: “We predicted Bugdivers hijacking the DSS and it never leaving the Bug Front. Here it is. Congratulations, the Squids thank you for your patronage”.

Now, as much as we appreciate bugdivers uniting and creating their own narrative, we also understand why the rest of the community is this salty. As a reminder, about a week ago, botdivers begged for some help with the Martale liberation. However, bugdivers were preoccupied with the MO, and slowly, but steadily, the progress on Martale was completely lost.

This divide between the communites has existed since the bots joined the Second Galactic War, and, unfortunately, it seems that it’s here to stay. Now that the Squids joined, it seems that the divide is even bigger. So, choose your side carefully! We’ll be diving on RD-4, hopefully, we’ll see you there. For Liberty and Super Earth.
