October 26 marks the most democratic holiday. While many Helldivers 2 players are enjoying the Liberty Day festivities, some Super Earth citizens are discussing treason. With the announcement of the Truth Enforcers Warbond, some Helldivers have started questioning the intentions of Super Earth. That’s treason, right?
Some Helldivers Claim Super Earth Is Bad
Now, if you’ve seen the designs in the upcoming Warbond, you might agree they do look a little, erm, stereotypical for the bad guys. The red and black, clean and strict design, even the “At Ease” emote, everything seems suited for the baddies. Well, some Helldivers dared to ask the hard questions.
One of them, Apprehensive_Ad_296, asked: “Is Super Earth slowly showing its true colors?”. Alongside, this player posted a picture that has become a meme recently. In it, an Automaton is being executed in the background, while a Helldiver strikes a pose.
Another player, madman875775, shared their current problem This player explained: “My girlfriend is treasonous. My gf keeps saying things like “What if the Ministry of Truth is lying?”. I told her it was treason but she didn’t care. She also said reeducation camps sound unethical, but how else will she learn the truth”.
Believe it or not, even some Chaosdivers chirped in. Members of the infamous rebel faction have claimed Super Earth was bad for a while now. TurnBackOnYourSteps said: “I’ve smelled rotten from SE since my days on Creek. Managed Democracy looked like corporate c**p. They do act more like a big corporacy than an actual government”.
Most of the Helldivers Just Want to Celebrate Liberty Day
Don’t worry, the majority of Helldivers 2 players put the pause on Liberty Day celebrations and came to defend Super Earth. One player, Cold_Hovercraft_1069, pointed out: “Thoughts like this are a very fine line between betrayal and the desire to betray”.
ZombiePotato90 added: “One of the many things Super Earth citizens enjoy is freedom. And I love that I have the freedom to choose to believe what my Democracy Officer tells me to believe”. Many pointed out that the Ministry of Truth would be called the Ministry of Lies if they were lying. Also, even Moo Deng reacted in response to these accusations towards Super Earth.
Finally, one player, Sadiholic, spilled some democratic facts. They stated: “Fact: Super Earth is not a tyrant. Fact: Super Earth fashion is superior to any other species or culture. Fact: Traitors are jealous because we look good”.
So, dear Helldiver, you can now safely return to the festivities. Have the happiest Liberty Day, we’re sure nothing bad will happen in the Major Order. However, a good diver is always ready for action, so don’t forget to take your Purifier with you. For Liberty and Super Earth.
