As you know, Liberty Day is upon us. However, the devs have decided to surprise the fans and announce the next Warbond, Truth Enforcers. Among many wonderful items in the upcoming Warbond, one emote captured the Helldivers 2 players’ hearts and inspired dozens of memes.
An Emote Inspires Helldivers to Make Memes
The emote in question is “At Ease”. As you’ll see soon, it can be used in a variety of situations. We’re very thankful for the Helldivers’ imagination and sense of humor. First of all, the community had to reflect on the 63-day period during which the devs “fixed” the game.
Many players pointed how wonderfully diverse this emote would be. How often do you stand and admire an explosion, while your fellow teammates either die from it, or up to some shenanigans? Well, once the Warbond drops, you’ll be able to do it in style.
Also, this community wouldn’t be as grand as it is without some dark humor. At the time of writing this article, social media is overflowing with a Helldivers’ spin on the “Face the wall” meme. A truly democratic rendition of this meme.
Helldivers Share When They’ll Strike a Pose
The Helldivers 2 players didn’t just share memes of the emote, although that would be perfectly fine, if you ask us. The devoted players also share future scenarios in which this pose would be epic.
This emote will be of great use to those who like roleplaying. One player, emeraldeyesshine, noted: “Genuinely can’t wait to use that emote next to the extract ramp while waiting on my team to board”. LostAllEnergy stated: “I see myself walking the battlefield but stopping periodically to “inspect” random things like I’m seeing if they’re up to super standards”.
Also, an emote can save your life, and now you’ll look way more suave while you fall through the air. Dizzeler joked: “Or when you get launched so you can emote and not give a f**k about taking damage when you land”. Another player, longbeardindustries, added: “I can picture myself and my teammates, flying through the air, using this emote to prevent fall damage at the end of the rainbow and it’s hilarious”.
We can’t wait to see all the situations the Helldivers will use this emote in. The Warbond drops on October 31, so we’ll have to wait a little while.
