The Helldivers 2 community has had an eventful couple of weeks, the patch caused several unexpected changes in the game, including players migrating to the bot front and the creation of Chaosdivers. Some players found the changes overwhelming, so they even found a way to time-travel. Now, some new leaks have made the Helldivers 2 actually look forward to the future.
New Leaks Give Helldivers Hope
One Helldiver shared their discoveries on Reddit, they included new possible planets, vehicles, weapons, Stratagems, and Hive Elites. According to this Redditor, many of these leaks are either worked on or in plans for the future of Helldivers 2.
The first on this lengthy list is the so-called Planetarium. Apparently, the devs will add an in-game section, a gallery of sorts. It will feature previews of planets that they haven’t added yet. These planets are supposedly the ones that will integrate the Galactic War fronts. As for the planet types, the leaker noted: “Most are forestry, tempered and Arid based”.
The next category is the long-expected vehicles. The OP stated: “Some have been present before within game code and were pulled or deep coded, many others have yet to make it to the game & integrate”. The list includes a Hummer, a six-wheeled amphibious armored reconnaissance vehicle, a Truck, a Turret walker, a “potential “AC130″ like Stratagem”, and new variants of the Bastion Tank and LAV.
Possibly the most asked-for feature might be added at some point in the future. Yes, according to these leaks, weapon customization might become possible. Think of all the possibilities, this feature might completely change the game.
As for the weapons, you might get to use an AR-48 Truth Whisperer, AR-20L Justice, Plasma Rifle, PLAS-3 Singe, and Plasma pistol. Also, among the new Stratagems and Tackpacks, you’ll find a Medical Pack, a Displacer Pack, a High-Efficiency Jump Pack, Carpet Bombs, a 10000kg Bomb, an AA Stinger, and, potentially, Shrapnel Mines.

Furthermore, according to these Helldivers 2 leaks, the future of Terminids might be even scarier. Lastly, the OP noted: “The Gloom is progressively mutating the many already dangerous insects, there could be potential new annoying titans to ragdoll to“. Those include the Hive “Dust Devil”, the Mutated Hive Bile Titan, and Hive Dragons.
Helldivers 2 players were obviously stoked about these possible additions. One of them, parsyy, said: “Most likely the person who makes the icons was told to make them in advance. It doesn’t guarantee they will be added. But all this stuff I would add to the game because it’s awesome and fun”.
Another player, Nakon_Warrior, added: “It definitely has potential. But it’s a lot of waiting around and being hyped up. Then, when a live patch comes around, they don’t fully deliver on all fronts, whether that be performance or balance”.
