Ghostrunner 2’s launch is finally at hand as players are bound to head back to Dharma Tower and check out what life has been like a year after the chaos. One of the features that will be introduced in the sequel is the motorbike. It is expected to allow players to explore the post-apocalyptic world more freely and much further. The two-wheeled ride also got the game’s player base pretty much intrigued. It’s as if the developers are suggesting that Ghostrunner 2 could feature an open world map. Let’s find out.

Will Ghostrunner 2 feature an Open World environment?

Well, not really. While it’s true that you can now explore the world outside Dharma Tower, Ghostrunner 2 will not feature an open-world play area.

Locations within the game known as Cybervoids will be reintroduced in the sequel. Players are given more freedom in these sections of the game compared to what it was in the original title. There are even Cybervoids that require combat which are also perfect spots to practice some of your skills.

A taste of open-world freedom on a motorbike

As mentioned, the motorbike is one of the interesting features being added to the game’s latest installment. It was revealed that there are levels within the game that would require you to ride it since these motorbike levels have been deemed as open-world. Moreover, you have to use your smarts on these stages as you navigate through these areas of the game.
