“Get You Questions Ready!” The First Descendant Live AMA Session Is Right Around the Corner

The end of the year is almost upon us. In the first few weeks of 2025 we can expect to see another live devstream and the second major update for Season 2. However, as the last event in 2024, The First Descendant devs will hold a live AMA (“Ask Me Anything”) session on Discord.

At the moment, everything is in the holiday mood. Whether it’s post-Christmas or preparing for the New Year’s, everything and everyone has slowed down. But, Nexon decided to surprise us with an announcement that they’ll be having another Q&A session of sorts, this time only on Discord.

The First Descendant AMA Session on Discord Is Scheduled to Go Live on December 30

At the beginning of November, Nexon opened up a Q&A Channel on their official The First Descendant Discord. Users could post their questions and the devs would answer as much as they can each day. It proved to be immensely popular. Unfortunately, they had to close it, in preparation for Season 2. We then had a couple of dev livestreams which, besides talking about the new Season, also had Q&A sessions. As far as we know, the next livestream is scheduled for early January, right before we get the next Season 2 update (January 16, if nothing changes).

However, Nexon decided to give us one last present. On December 27, they announced that they would host an AMA (“Ask Me Anything”) session. In short, that is a session where you can, unsurprisingly, ask the devs/creators anything related to the game. It is scheduled for December 30, 8pm (PST), or December 31, 4am (GMT), and will happen on The First Descendant official Discord channel.

What Will the AMA Session Look Like?

We can only speculate at this point, but we’d say that it won’t be much different from the regular Q&A session. Since it will be on Discord, it will be in written form most likely, ie, not as a live stream. Just like the regular dev Q&A channel we had, we expect they will open up a special channel just for this.

So, if you have some questions on your mind, hop on into the Discord during the session and ask. Who knows, maybe your question will get answered!
