Developed and published by Bad Guitar Studio, FragPunk is the new five-versus-five shooter where you can change the rules of the game in an instant. Overwatch has been at the top of the team-based shooter gamers for quite some time, but over time it fell out of favor and other titles, like the most recent Marvel Rivals, are the main contenders now. The recent release of FragPunk will shake things up even further with its unique mechanics.

The gist is that in FragPunk, besides the obvious features you’d expect in every team-based shooter, you have a sort of “power up” cards, called Shard Cards, that can really change the game and the rules, like increasing your jump height, reversing the attackers and defenders, adding explosions or chain lightning effects to your bullets, and more. There are over 100 different cards, giving you tons of possibilities and combinations.

FragPunk Release Date, Pricing, and Platforms

The release date for FragPunk is Thursday, March 6, 2024.

It is playable on PC (via Steam and Epic Game Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S and X.

The best part is that FragPunk will be free to play. There is a special pre-order Pioneer Pack, that grants you exclusive cosmetics, as well as access to a premium Battle Pass, costing $9.99.
