Fae Farm is full of magical items and adventures to help complete quests. However, nothing prepares you for the long and boring search for the Mysterious Portal. After getting the ‘Taking Flight’ quest from the Wisp Mother, you don’t get any directions or hints about the location of the Mysterious Portal. All you have to go on is that there’s a Mysterious Portal in Azoria you must find. To ease your troubles, we’ve made a short guide on exactly where is the Mysterious Portal in Fae Farm.
Where is the Mysterious Portal in Fae Farm
The Mysterious Portal is located at the Northern end of the wooded area in Spooky Forest. There will be a large chasm you must double-jump over to get to the Portal. After this, the ‘Find the Portal’ part of the quest will be completed automatically. With that completed, you can progress to the next part.
You’ve probably come across this chasm before as well and found it impossible to cross. However, this chasm is only possible to cross if you have a pair of Fairy Wings. The Fairy Wings are given to you by Wisp Mother at the end of the ‘Raising Expectations’ quest. These wings will allow you to double-jump across the chasm and get to the Mysterious Portal.
After finding the Mysterious Portal, you need to go back and talk to the Wisp Mother again. She will then unlock the next quest in line for you.

- Budding Friendships: Azoria is home to a cast of colorful characters! As you progress through the story, you can build bonds with many islanders along the way. You can even find romance by going on dates and eventually getting married at Town Hall.
- One for all: You can play on your own or with up to 3 of your friends online or over local wireless.
Miasma Fog in Spooky Forest
After you’ve found the Mysterious Portal, you’ll see a mysterious Miasma Fog covering most of the Spooky Forest on your way back. This is important for later since this miasma was concealed within the Mysterious Portal. Now that you’ve revealed it, the miasma is spreading through the area and can only be treated with a potion.
How to Complete the ‘Taking Flight’ Quest
Once you’re done with the ‘Taking Flight’ quest, go to the Wisp Mother. She will then open a portal the next day and take you into the Fae Realm. Here, you will get a whole new quest to follow in the quest line.
The quest you find in Fae Realm requires you to do a lot of gathering and foraging, so we’d suggest you pack some tools. This is to ensure you don’t miss out on any important resources due to lack of tools. You should also try to keep your inventory as empty as possible to collect more resources. At the end of this questline, you get access to a dungeon with a new Ore, so definitely look to finish this.
How to get Fairy Wings from Wisp Mother
Getting your own set of wings is pretty exciting as it finally gets you up to par with the other mythical creatures in Fae Farm. We talked about this before since it’s an essential part of finding the Mysterious Portal.
To get your wings, you need to meet the Wisp Mother and complete her ‘Raising Expectations’ quest. This quest has three different objectives you must finish. Once you’re done with those, the Wisp Mother opens up Azoria’s Treasury shop. You also get the option to customize your wings a bit and try on new ones.
