The next step is to purchase seeds from Rosalind, located in East Town. Her shop has seeds for Red Roses, White Lilies, and Yellow Tulips. Be sure to buy a couple if planning on planting multiple flowers.
Next, find an empty spot on your farm. Place the Flower Soil Bed into the ground and then plant one of the seeds into the bed. Place multiple beds next to one another for the chance to grow hybrid flowers.
Be sure to water your plants every day, and then continue with your adventure or other chores. It is hard to tell when exactly the flowers will sprout, but keep checking every day until you start to see petals.
How To Grow a Pink Flower
In order to grow a pink flower, you need to combine a white and red flower. First, construct and place a 9×9 soil bed in your Homestead. Plant the white flower seed in one corner and the red flower seed in the other corner. Water the seeds daily and wait for them to grow. Soon, the middle soil bed will sprout a pink plant; you can check its genes to know if it’ll grow to be a pink flower or not.
Pink flowers will always have one white and one red gene; combined, they make pink. The preferred flowers for this combination experiment are white Zinnia seeds and red Rose seeds. One very important thing to keep in mind is to leave the central flower bed empty. Plant your seeds at opposite corners so the pink flower can sprout in the middle flower bed.
