The much anticipated 10th iteration – Dynasty Warriors Origins arrives on January 17th. It has been seven years since we were last graced by the popular hack-and-slash, and even though I haven’t bought a copy since Dynasty Warriors 3, my nostalgia has reached fever pitch.
The new Dynasty Warriors launches on the 17th of this month across all available platforms (Xbox X/S, PS5, and PC). There is advanced access to those who pre-purchase the Deluxe Edition. Early access would give you three days of extra play, commencing on January 14th.
If you are still unsure, the demo is available to download and playtest. The demo is downloadable from PSN, Microsoft, or the Steam store. As you would expect it is only a small slither of the game but you get to experience the battle of Sishui Gate with varying difficulty levels to try.
It is worth noting that Dynasty Warriors Origins will not launch on day one for Xbox Game Pass.
Dynasty Warriors pre order bonuses
The game is available in two different editions, although on PC you can buy the pre order edition without early access for around $10 less.
- Standard Edition: Pre order bonus includes the “Nameless Warrior Garb”, A “Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty” collaboration costume.
- Deluxe Edition: Pre order bonuses include early access (72 hours), Official Book & Original Soundtrack, and Letters.
The early purchase bonus will be available for those who pre-order or purchase the game by January 30, 2025.
