BattleBit Remastered has topped the Steam charts on PC, which is a surprise for a game made by a small development team. The first-person shooter is currently in Steam Early Access, and may not have some features that fully released games have. Since it is a PC game, does BattleBit Remastered have controller support? This guide will show players if a controller can be used to play the game.
- The next generation of all-out war is here.
- Experience ever-changing battle conditions and gameplay challenges.
- Unleash your combat creativity with weapons, vehicles and equipment inspired by the near-future of 2042.
- Choose your role on the battlefield and form hand-tailored squads through the new Specialist system.
Does BattleBit Remastered Have Official Controller Support?
BattleBit Remastered does not officially support controllers to use within the game at the time of this writing. While the game can perfectly work with a mouse and keyboard, it is unfortunate for those who play on a television or handheld device like the Steam Deck. Although, the game is listed as having “Partial Controller Support” on the game’s Steam store page.
The developer had said in a Steam forums post that controller support was “not something we could squeeze in before Early Access launch.” The studio plans on making improvements to controller support in the future and had made its own configurable controller map that players can use in the meantime.
