Developers of Diablo 4 are listening to the community’s problems and have begun implementing some new quality-of-life features. Games similar to Diablo usually have a way of helping you test out your build in a safe environment. It was about time Diablo 4 got one of its own, in the form of the Training Dummy. For starters, let’s see where it’s located.
Where Is the Training Dummy Located?
The location of the Training Dummy in Diablo 4 is in The Training Grounds in Kyovashad. Training Grounds is a new location in Kyovashad that was added with 1.2.1. Patch. Its exact location is a little north of the World Tier Tree, in the direction of the Cathedral of Light. It is right next to the area where new Guard recruits are training, the location of the Raising Spirits Side Quest. Just enter the Training Grounds and you will find yourself in a small chamber with a Training Dummy, your Stash, and a statue that gives you the Configure Training Dummy option.

How to Use and Configure the Training Dummy in Diablo 4
The use of the Training Dummy is to show you how much damage you deal to enemies of different difficulties. You can whack it to your heart’s content and it won’t fight back and cannot be destroyed. So it is great when experimenting with different items, builds, etc. The bonus is that you can configure it to represent the difficulty of an enemy you wish to test it against, ie. Normal, Elite, and Boss difficulty. You can also choose between one and multiple Dummies if you want to test out your AoE damage. It will spawn five Training Dummies, instead of one. Perfect to test out if your Rapid Fire Rogue is dealing enough single-target damage against Bosses, or to see how your Firewall Sorcerer is doing against multiple opponents.
