There is a new type of dungeon coming with the next Season. Keep reading to find out what are the Vaults in Diablo 4 Season 3.
Diablo 4 has many ways to level up and improve your character. Not to mention the awesome gear you can find. The best way to get some XP and loot is in dungeons. Moreover, with the new Season of the Construct comes a new type of dungeon called Vaults. Let’s see what are the Vaults in Diablo 4 Season 3.
What are the Vaults in Diablo 4 Season 3?
Vaults are a dungeon specific to Season 3 – Season of the Construct. Vaults were originally made to keep the demonic forces at bay. But as the Demon Malphas grew in strength, he corrupted these Vaults. Traps and constructs that were there to serve against demons now protect them.
These Vaults are special dungeons, filled with Hazards (a type of elemental traps) and a new subtype of enemies – Constructs. Even these constructs seem elemental in nature, so buffing up your resistances will be a must in there. But what do these Vaults have, what are we looking for?
- Lead underworldly creatures into battle with Super Pop! Lilith! This dark demon is ready to raise her armies and conquer your Diablo IV collection
- Vinyl figure is approximately 6.85-inches tall
The Rewards of the Vaults
Braving these Vaults will give you a random Tuning Stone once completed. But that is not all. As you enter, you can get stacks of a condition called Zoltun’s Warding, which doesn’t do anything directly. Rather, the more stacks you have when you finish a Vault, the greater the reward. For this, you need to offer up some Pearls of Warding, which you can find in the Arcane Tremors (a Helltide-like event in Season 3). Each time you fall prey to a Hazard, you will lose a stack. Moreover, if you complete the Vault without losing any stacks you will be rewarded with a Wardwoven Chest. These chests grant you additional Tuning Stones and have a greater chance of dropping Legendary gear.
Lastly, Vaults are a home to Constructs. Defeating Constructs will yield some Shattered Stone, which is a resource needed to craft new Governing and Tuning Stones at the Jeweler.
At World Tier 3 you will unlock Nightmare Vaults. These are activated with Vault Sigils, that drop alongside the regular Nightmare Dungeon Sigils. Nightmare Vaults function similarly to Nightmare Dungeons, ie, more dangerous but the rewards are better.
