At BlizzCon 2023 Blizzard announced the arrival of Malignant Rings. This article will explain what Malignant Rings are in Diablo 4 and we will provide a full list. Read on.
Diablo 4 Season 1 had a mechanic called Malignant Hearts, that acted similar to Gems, ie, you put them into sockets for additional effects. They granted unique bonuses and abilities that players quite enjoyed. And with that in mind, Blizzard announced the Malignant Rings.
What are Malignant Rings
Malignant Rings are a new type of Ancestral Unique Rings, coming with Patch 1.2.2. on November 7. They are based on popular powers from Season of the Malignant, with one for each Class, and will be available on both Seasonal and Eternal Realms. It appears that the community really liked those Malignant Powers so these Rings are here to stay. It is quite a good move from the developers, as they brought a new mechanic, tested it out in the form of temporary Seasonal Content, saw what the players really liked, and decided to bring it back and fully implement it in the game. Now, let’s see what those Malignant Rings are.
