Sometimes we get the most when we don’t have high expectations, that’s why it’s important to keep an open mind a try out everything for yourself. Every Destiny 2 player has one underrated Exotic they love even though it isn’t widely popular. Which one would you suggest?
Destiny 2 Players Share Their Underrated Favorites
As with anything else in life, don’t knock it until you try it, we know some of these choices wouldn’t be your first pick, but when there’s smoke, there’s usually fire. So, see what you might be missing out on, there are some gems here.
One Redditor suggested: “Cadmus Ridge Lancecap. Behemoths are about to go nutso next episode; including myself. Equip literally any stasis and clear weapon, and spawn constant diamond lances”. Several others agreed, and ImawhaleCR added: “Lancecap is absolutely busted in PvP and people completely sleep on it. With all the titan buffs next season people will probably realize how good diamond Lances are”.
Another extremely popular choice was the Hierarchy of Needs. Now, you’ll need to grind for this one, as some players reported taking them a while to get it, but it will be worth the effort. One player noted: “This with the Mantle of Battle Harmony is crazy, one of my favorite builds for all content”.
Another Exotic that received a lot of praise was the Truth, especially considering all the buffs it received this Season. The players’ favorite thing about this Exotic is that it has 3 rockets in the magazine, which might give you an advantage over unexpecting enemies.
Which Exotic Deserves to Be Way More Popular?
There might be one, maybe two, borderline underrated Exotic that every Destiny 2 player should try at least once. You may have guessed by now, one of them is none other than the Ticcu’s Divination.
This Exotic has almost a cult following, with players describing it as great for everything and anything. Wise_Mulberry3568 shared: “Ticuu’s is a weapon that I NEVER have on hand, but when I pull it out, it’s always the right tool for the job. Doesn’t even need building into. You just sit in the back and play the rhythm game of nocking and loosing arrows whenever the rest of your kit needs to recharge”.
Another player, TFtato, added: “It took me forever to take it seriously for some reason, but it’s the whole package. Looks cool, sick ornaments, feels crisp to use, and very fun mechanics that aren’t overly complex”.
Finally, the one Exotic that gathered the majority of votes and everyone’s hearts is, of course, the Skyburner’s Oath. WaxiestBobcat praised: “Any time I’m on Neomuna or in a Cabal-heavy environment, I always use it. Arguably tied for frustrating enemies are Phalanx Cabal and Dinner Plate Scorn. At least we have a way to deal with the phalanx shields thanks to Skyburner’s”.
What we love the most about this community is that no matter what the future holds, players are always ready to share their tips and treasures with each other. Even though this game has existed for a while, it can still feel fresh and new, if you just change up your patterns. So, try something new and enjoy the game.
