It is a fact that Clair Obscur is filled with hidden details and easter eggs, with the most famous being the portrait of the whole Sandfall team, which can be found in the game. But, there is a lot more to it. On that note (pun intended), the fans have discovered a pretty sweet detail when it comes to playing the piano in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

Sandfall paid so much attention to detail in Clair Obscur that it is mindboggling. So much so that surely some still remain hidden. Scattered across the game are various pianos that the members of the group can play. Pressing the “interact” button will result in a couple of notes, and you’d probably go on your own way after playing the piano a couple of times. But, there is more to it.

The fans simply love hidden details and easter eggs. And it looks like the devs gave an extra effort when it comes to the music in the game (besides the breathtaking soundtrack, that is). It came to our attention that when playing the piano in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, each character plays the piano differently.

It was shared by a player named Elocin_712 on X, who said: “I was today years old when I realized the piano sounds different depending on which character you’re playing as when you interact with it.“ Others join in, with SouISeven saying: “Now that you told me this i gotta go back to try it with Verso,” and mksystem74 adding: “Everything in this game is intentional and you won’t discover everything the first time for sure. I’m roaming in act 3 until I want to activate the end game.”

Even the devs joined in, saying that the group is not at the same skill level when it comes to pianos. “Some are good at piano, some are REALLY good at piano!”

These details will always amaze the players. Who knows what still remains hidden? In any case, get to the nearest piano and start playing.
